Stree 2 is leading the box office race from the front even in its sixth weekend. The horror-comedy collected Rs 577.50 crore nett after 39 days at the ticket window, reported the trade website Sacnilk. Even in its sixth weekend, the film managed to earn higher than what all the new releases collected in their first weekend - a terrific feat to achieve.

Stree 2 wrapped up its sixth weekend at around Rs 13.50 crore nett, with Sunday adding Rs 4.85 crore nett. • Week 1: Rs 291.65 crore
  • Week 2: Rs 141.4 crore
  • Week 3: Rs 70.2 crore
  • Week 4: Rs 36.1 crore
  • Week 5: Rs 24.65 crore
  • Friday: Rs 5 crore
  • Saturday: Rs 3.65 crore
  • Sunday: Rs 4.85 crore
  • Total: Rs 577.50 crore

Stree 2 has got no new major competition in the near future. Yudhra, which was the latest Bollywood film to hit the screens, didn't do enough to hamper the smooth run of the Amar Kaushik-directorial. It seems there's nothing big until the Diwali weekend that could really pose a challenge to Stree 2.

Devara: Part 1, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR, even with good word-of-mouth, may not really affect the horror-comedy at the box office. The film's major business is going to come from the Southern market, and it will be interesting to see how the Hindi belt responds to the film for it to challenge Stree 2.

Right now, the pitch is all clear for our biggest Hindi film of the year.
