Following the killing of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, concerns have heightened over actor Salman Khan’s security. While his Galaxy apartment in Bandra has seen an increase in security personnel being stationed outside, the family has also requested many of his industry friends to refrain from visiting the actor.

Sources told India Today that Salman Khan is devastated and in a lot of pain after losing his dear friend Baba Siddique. After he returned home from Lilavati Hospital late last night, the actor was unable to sleep and has been constantly checking on Zeeshan (Baba Siddique's son) and the family.

A source close to the Siddique family told us, “Bhai has been on the phone checking on the funeral arrangements and every other detail. He has cancelled all his personal meetings for the next few days as well.”

Sources further added that Salman’s close family members are equally devastated by the loss. Both Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan were also very close to Baba and a regular at his Iftaar parties.

The late leader was not just a friend but almost like family to Salman. He and Zeeshan were welcomed with a lot of love when they visited Galaxy to meet the actor. Salman, too like a true friend, rushed to be with the family after the tragic incident.
