Actor Simran on working with Vijay: Those spreading false rumours owe me apology

Prominent South Indian actor Simran Bagga, recently addressed rumours about her venturing into film production with Thalapathy Vijay. Reports had surfaced that she planned to produce a film starring Vijay under her banner. However, Simran shared a post on social media to slam these rumours, stating that her goals are different now and that she knows her boundaries.

Using her X account, Simran expressed her discontent with the rumours and emphasised the importance of self-respect. She stated, "It's truly disheartening to see how people can emotionally manipulate you and how little your friends seem to care about it. Up until now, I've stayed quiet, but let me make it clear: I'm not desperate to line up and work with any big heroes. I've been there and done that. My goals are different now, and as a woman, I know my boundaries."

Simran further added that she has always stood firm for what is right and expects the same integrity from others in the industry. She mentioned that those spreading false rumours owe her a sincere apology. Without naming anyone, Simran debunked the rumours and highlighted that no one made any effort to put an end to them.

Recent reports also suggest that Simran might be approached to play a key role in Vijay's upcoming film, Thalapathy 69, directed by H Vinoth. Simran and Vijay have previously starred together in films such as Priyamaanavale, Once More, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, and Udhaya.
