Actor Suniel Shetty has sustained injuries on the sets of his upcoming series, Hunter. Known for doing his own stunts, Shetty was in the midst of a high-intensity fight scene involving four to five stunt performers when an accident took place. The scene featured a wooden log as a prop, but a mistimed movement led to the log accidentally hitting the actor in the rib cage.
A source close to the development shared, “Suniel is severely injured. The doctors and the X-ray machines have been called on the set to assess the injury. Shetty is in great pain now. The shooting which was taking place in Mumbai, has been halted now”
Shetty will be next seen in Welcome to the Jungle, which will also feature Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade. Recently, Aftab Shivdasani also joined the cast of the film. Directed by Ahmed Khan, it will be released in theatres on December 20.
