Suriya praises 'little brother' Dulquer's Lucky Baskhar, urges fans to watch it

Actor Suriya appreciated Dulquer Salmaan's latest film, Lucky Baskhar. Urging fans to watch it, at an event in Kochi, he also expressed his desire to work in the Malayalam film industry.

Actor Suriya praised Dulquer Salmaan's latest film Lucky Baskhar and requested fans to watch it. At a promotional event of his upcoming film Kanguva, held in Kochi, Suriya spoke highly of the Malayalam film industry and even expressed his desire to work in it.

Stating the audience reception of Lucky Baskhar, Suriya called it a benchmark for the entire Indian film industry. He said, "I’ve heard that my Chinnathambi (little brother) Dulquer’s film 'Lucky Baskhar' is doing exceptionally well. Those who haven’t watched it yet should definitely go see it."

Speaking about his admiration for Malayalam films, he added, "Malayalam cinema is a role model for filmmakers across India. I always get a lot of love here. I wish and hope I can do or direct a Malayalam film as well. I hope someday it will happen."

Lucky Baskhar is a character study of Baskhar, a clever banker, who is capable of emerging out of any difficult situation with his quick decision-making skills. Whether it’s banking or the share market, Baskhar learns from his mistakes before it gets too late.

The film is directed by Venky Atluri and also features Meenakshi Chaudhary in an important role. It was released on October 21.
