Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's Thug Life wraps shoot, enters 'next stage'

Actor Kamal Haasan and ace director Mani Ratnam's highly-anticipated movie, Thug Life, has wrapped shoot. The news was recently shared on the production banner's official social media handle.

Ace director Mani Ratnam and megastar Kamal Haasan's highly-anticipated movie, Thug Life, has wrapped shoot. The news was shared by the film's official social media handle.

The handle shared a behind-the-scenes video of the same, and the caption read, "Shooting Completed. #Thuglife enters the next phase (sic)."

The story of 'Thug Life' has been written by its star producer, Kamal Haasan. Apart from Haasan, the film has an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Abhirami, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vaiyapuri in pivotal roles.

Earlier, Jayam Ravi was roped in to play an important role. However, he has backed out due to date issues. Now, it is said that Ashok Selvan has been chosen for that role.

Jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies, 'Thug Life' has music composed by AR Rahman, editing by Sreekar Prasad and cinematography by Ravi K Chandran.
