A vintage 1958 Ferrari 250 GT, currently owned by Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie, will be auctioned at Christie’s “Exceptional Sale” on November 20 in Paris. Christie’s has confirmed the black coupe, featuring coachwork by Pininfarina SpA, as the 11th of only 353 models built between 1955 and 1960.

Though the car retains its original engine, it was likely repainted in 1978 from its original white and blue colour to black, with its interior changed from black to red. With an odometer reading of 64,244 miles, details regarding the car’s mechanical condition and provenance remain unclear. Christie’s expects the car to fetch between €600,000 (Rs 5.5 crore) and €800,000 (Rs 7.3 crore).

Despite the hype, crucial details about the auction's centerpiece are still unknown, including its provenance, mechanical status, and percentage of original components.

The rare Ferrari will be displayed for public viewing on November 14, 16, and 20 at Christie’s Paris showroom.
