Bigg Boss 18: Shilpa Shirodkar, Badhaai Do actor Chum Darang confirmed contestants

Actors Shilpa Shirodkar and Chum Darang, known for her role in Badhaai Do, have been confirmed for Bigg Boss 18. The highly-anticipated show is set to premiere on October 6.

Superstar Salman Khan is set to launch Bigg Boss 18 on Sunday, October 6. Like every year, this year, there is curiosity about the contestants who would be locked inside the house. While popular TV actor Nia Sharma has already been announced as the first contestant by Rohit Shetty during the finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, India Today Digital has a few more names that have been added to the final list.

Bollywood actor Shilpa Shirodkar, known for her performance in films like Gopi Kishan, Kishen Kanhaiya, Hum, Khuda Gawah and Gaja Gamini is set to join Bigg Boss 18. After a long break from work, the actor also made her TV debut with Ek Mutthi Aasmaan in 2013. Shilpa is the elder sister of actor Namrata Shirodkar and the sister-in-law of South superstar Mahesh Babu.

In addition to her, is actor Chum Darang, who made her Bollywood debut in Badhaai Do. Originally from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, she played the role of Bhumi Pednekar's girlfriend in the film. Darang has also played supportive parts in the web show Pataal Lok and Alia Bhatt-led Gangubai Kathiawadi. With a few pageant titles to her credit, the actor also runs a cafe in her hometown.

Other names that are confirmed to be on the reality show are actor Sara Khan and her husband, life coach Afreen Khan. TV actors Alice Kaushik, Nyrraa Banerji, Shehzada Dhami, Chaahat Pandey, Muskan Bamne, Avinash Mishra and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner Karan Veer Mehra. Content creator Hema Sharma, popularly known as 'Viral Bhabhi', is also reported to join the Salman Khan-hosted show.

Bigg Boss 18 will premiere on October 6 on Colors. Alternatively, the show will also be streamed on JioCinema app.
