Thalapathy Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu's The Greatest of All Time aka GOAT is all set for its OTT release. The film will stream on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on October 3. The streaming giant announced the OTT release date with a special poster. Fans were curiously waiting to see if the director would release the extended version on Netflix. Going by the poster, the theatrical version will be available on OTT.

The official X page of Netflix India South shared the announcement with a new poster. "Ever seen a lion become a G.O.A.T?! Thalapathy Vijay's The G.O.A.T- The Greatest of All Time is coming to Netflix on 3 October in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi (sic)," their post read. The film released in theatres on September 5.

GOAT recently completed 25 days in theatres and raked in over Rs 400 crore worldwide. The film has been declared a blockbuster and is still going strong in selected theatres across Tamil Nadu.

On September 29, director Venkat Prabhu shared a video on 25 days of GOAT. He wrote, "God is kind!!! Thanks to each and everyone of you who made our #GOAT #TheGreatestOfAllTime a Mega BLOCKBUSTER (sic)."

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT is an action thriller featuring Vijay in two roles. The film's supporting cast includes Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren and Yugendran in important roles.

The film was produced on a massive budget by AGS Entertainment. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the film.
