Actor Sara Ali Khan, last seen in the Netflix film Murder Mubarak, has signed a new film with actor Sidharth Malhotra, sources confirmed to India Today. The film will be directed by Deepak Mishra, best known for his work on the hit web series Panchayat.

The untitled film is reportedly set against the backdrop of a rural folk story, offering a fresh narrative for both actors. Details about the plot remain under wraps.

Sources close to the development have revealed that the film is scheduled to begin production in 2025. It will be exciting to see Sara and Sidharth, who have never worked together before, share the screen.
