Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 advance booking: Kartik's film thrives despite less screens

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is looking at a solid box office opening on Friday. As per the advance booking trends, the film might have got fewer screens than Singham Again, but it has sold more tickets so far.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is making waves at the box office already. The Kartik Aaryan-starrer has crossed the benchmark of Rs 10 crore gross in advance sales already. As of 12 pm on Thursday, the film sold over 24 lakh tickets for 8813 shows, grossing Rs 10.12 crore gross (including blocked seats), reported the trade website Sacnilk.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is looking at a terrific box office opening, probably one of the biggest for Bollywood on Diwali. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has got fewer screens as compared to Singham Again, which is also releasing on the same day. However, as per the early pre-sales trend, horror-comedy is growing at a better speed than cop-drama.

As of 12 pm on Thursday, the Rohit Shetty-directorial sold over 20 lakh tickets for 11894 shows all across the country with a gross of Rs 9.09 crore (including blocked seats). Even with more shows, the film has sold fewer tickets than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 so far. However, things might change by the end of the day.

Both films are expected to witness a rigorous growth in their advance booking towards the end of the day. It will be interesting to see how their pre-sales business affects their opening day performances at the box office on Friday, considering the stakes in both films are higher than ever.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, Sanjay Mishra, Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raaz, among others. The film is the third in the popular horror-comedy franchise.
