The incident occurred as the Driver's License singer was running back and forth, thrilling the audience, when she suddenly disappeared into the stage. However, she quickly reassured the crowd, lightening the mood by exclaiming, "Oh my God! That was fun!"

After receiving support from the backup team, Rodrigo resumed the performance, asking, “Now, where was I? How’s everyone doing tonight, Melbourne?” Her quick recovery was met with cheers from fans, who were clearly relieved by her upbeat attitude.

Rodrigo later took to TikTok to address the mishap, posting with the hashtag "#subtleforeshadowing" and playfully adding, "I am ok hahaha." In another video, she commented on the situation, saying, “Sometimes there's just a hole in the stage. That’s all right.”
