Actor Triptii Dimri was criticised by women entrepreneurs at an event in Jaipur after she reportedly failed to attend. In a viral video, a few women were seen smearing Triptii’s poster with black spray paint while calling for a boycott of her movies. Some also claimed that the actor took an advance payment of Rs 5 lakh for an appearance. However, Triptii's team has issued a statement, clarifying "she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties".

Triptii Dimri's absence from a FICCI event in Jaipur led to fury amongst those attending it. In a statement, an official spokesperson for Triptii said that she missed the event due to prior commitments related to her upcoming release, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The statement also mentioned that no additional fees or payments were accepted by Triptii for the event.

"During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It's important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities," the statement read.

Meanwhile, Triptii Dimri was a guest speaker at India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024. She spoke about her sudden popularity and said, "Honestly, I was not prepared for it. I was used to the life I was living, and it took me a while to understand what was happening. The love you get from your fans is a special feeling."
