In an earlier interaction with Star Sports, Rahul had spoken about how Athiya helps challenge his laid-back attitude, stating, "She gives me a lot of love and peace. And if I am in a balanced state of mind, I perform my best. That is what she does for me. I can be a little laid back sometimes. She challenges me. She helps me push boundaries a bit."

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Athiya was last seen in the 2019 release Motichoor Chaknachoor. It is unclear if she will pursue acting further since it has been five years since she last did a project.
