Filmmaker SS Rajamouli and actor Ram Charan praised Alia Bhatt's Jigra trailer, recently released in Telugu. The film, which also stars Vedang Raina, releases in Hindi and Telugu on October 11.

Alia Bhatt worked with both SS Rajamouli and Ram Charan in RRR. The South stars promoted the Telugu version of Jigra from their X handles.

"Alia never ceases to amaze us with her top notch performances.. Here she comes again with #Jigra It looks like an intense and emotional ride! Best wishes to her and the entire team for their release on October 11th! Here's the Telugu theatrical trailer @aliaa08 (sic)," wrote Rajamouli.

Jigra (loosely meaning courage) is the story of a sister's desperate attempt to rescue her brother, who has been arrested in another country. The film is jointly produced by Alia, along with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Talking about the film, the actor had earlier said, "Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production – Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion, and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, enduringly timeless, and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them to life."

The film is directed by Vasan Bala.
