Teaser launches are usually held in major cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Delhi, which makes the Lucknow event an uncommon approach designed to connect with audiences in North India’s heartland. Ram Charan’s decision to launch the teaser in Lucknow comes as part of the makers’ goal to expand Game Changer's visibility across diverse regions.

Game Changer has been in the making for over two years now. Apart from the lead pair, the S Shankar film includes talented actors such as SJ Suryah, Srikanth, and Anjali as a part of their ensemble cast. Initially set for a Christmas 2024 release, Game Changer was pushed to January 10, 2025.

Interestingly, Game Changer is set to release on the same day as Vishwambhara, a film starring Ram Charan's father, Chiranjeevi, with both films slated for a Sankranti 2025 release.
