Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is set in West Bengal and plays around the origin story of Manjulika, one of the most iconic ghost characters in Bollywood. It also stars Triptii Dimri, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raaz in important roles.

The film is facing a major box office clash with Singham Again. The Ajay Devgn-starrer has also largely received positive word-of-mouth from the audience on social media. It will be interesting to see how the two films manage to deliver Diwali blockbusters at the ticket window.
