Actor Kajol, who launched the trailer of her upcoming mystery thriller Do Patti in Mumbai on Monday, October 14, refused to answer a trivial question about betrayals in life. She declined to share "anecdotes" from times when she was betrayed but admitted that she has felt betrayed.

When a media person asked Kajol, along with actors Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh, if they have dealt with betrayal in their lives and, if so, what those experiences were, Kajol promptly replied, "Agar zinda hain toh hua hoga na kisi na kisi ke saath (If you're alive, it must have happened with someone or the other)."

Refusing to narrate any incident of betrayal, the 50-year-old said, "Of course, you cannot share the anecdote. Don't be daft. It is too personal. If it's a betrayal, it is too personal. Of course, we are not going to share."

However, returning to the discussion around Do Patti, Kajol added, "We cannot share anecdotes on this topic. But we can obviously tell you that betrayals happen in everyone's life. You sometimes feel it as a child, as a teenager, and as an adult. You will feel it at some point in your life for sure. Otherwise, you haven't lived life at all. We all have felt betrayals, and we have portrayed that quite nicely in the film also. The film has so many layers."

Kajol essays the role of a police officer in Do Patti, which appears to be a tale of deceit and innocence. The film, directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, is set to release on Netflix on October 25.
