Actor Shruti Haasan slams IndiGo over 4-hour delay in Mumbai, airline responds

Actor Shruti Haasan recently called out IndiGo after her flight from Mumbai was delayed for four hours 'without Information'. Soon after the actor's post on X, the airline apologised for the inconvenience.

Actor Shruti Haasan recently voiced her frustration on social media after her flight was delayed by four hours without any updates from the airline. The actor expressed her disappointment with IndiGo, stating that passengers, including herself, were left stranded at the airport without any information.

Shruti shared her ordeal on X and highlighted the ‘chaos’ because of the delay. “Hey I’m not one to normally complain but @IndiGo6E you guys really outdid yourself with the chaos today, we’ve been stranded in the airport with no information for the past four hours - maybe figure a better way for your passengers please? Information, courtesy and clarity (sic),” she wrote.

The airline responded to the actor’s misery and wrote, “Ms Haasan, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the flight delay. We fully understand how inconvenient extended wait times can be. The delay is due to weather conditions in Mumbai, which is affecting the arrival of the operating aircraft (sic).”

Adding, “We hope you understand that these factors are beyond our control, and we assure you that our airport team is doing their utmost to assist customers and ensure their comfort (sic).”

Shruti is not the only actor to share her problems about travelling with IndiGo. Previously, Divya Dutta slammed IndiGo for cancelling her flight without prior notification. In a detailed post, she expressed her frustration on social media and accused the airline of causing her a 'horrendous experience'.
