Suriya, Jyotika and legendary actor Sivakumar recently watched director Rajkumar Periasamy's Amaran at a private screening in Chennai. The trio praised the film and appreciated the makers and actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi for their superlative performances. Raaj Kamal Films International, one of the production houses of Amaran, shared glimpses from the private screening.
The trio showered praise on director Rajkumar Periasamy for his exceptional work. Sharing the photos, the production house wrote, "Grateful to @Suriya_offl Sir, #Jyothika ma'am and legendary actor #Sivakumar Sir for their heartfelt wishes for Team #Amaran. Your support inspires us! (sic)."

The biographical war film is an adaptation of the book series, India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. A chapter in one of the three books details a mission carried out by Major Mukund Varadarajan.
