Nagarjuna gives shout-out to Karthi's Meiyazhagan: Went to sleep with a smile

Nagarjuna gave a shout-out to Karthi and Arvind Swami's Meiyazhagan (Sathyam Sundaram in Telugu). He congratulated the team and mentioned that the film brought back his childhood memories.

Nagarjuna Akkineni shared his thoughts on Sathyam Sundaram (Meiyzhagan in Tamil) and congratulated the team. He mentioned that the film brought a smile to his face and brought back many childhood memories. He also talked about the film bringing back memories of Oopiri (Thozha in Tamil). For the unaware, Oopiri features Karthi and Nagarjuna in lead roles.

On September 30, Nagarjuna wrote on X, "Dear brother Karthi, I saw your film #SatyamSundaram last night!! You and Arvind ji were just too too goodâ€æ I had a smile throughout watching you and went to sleep with the same smile... Brought back so many childhood memories... and also memories of our film #oopiri . I’m so happy that people and the critics are appreciating such heart warming, Films!! kudos to the entire team!!! (sic)."

Karthi responded to Nagarjuna and he called him annayya (brother in Telugu). He wrote, "Thank you so much @iamnagarjuna annayya. We are elated to hear your words and so happy that you enjoyed the film. Your appreciation for good cinema constantly inspires us to strive for excellence (sic)."

Meiyazhagan (Sathyam Sundaram) is a drama written and directed by C Prem Kumar. Karthi and Arvind Swami played lead roles in the film with Rajkiran, Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Sriranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran and Saran Shakthi in supporting roles.
