Model and former Miss Universe finalist Kanika Batra-Matheson has gone viral for her new TikTok video wherein she discussed her sociopathic personality type yet again and shared tips that can expose such people.

Batra-Matheson has previously shared on social media that her sociopathic personality developed due to a “traumatic” childhood, according to the New York Post. She often posts TikTok videos with the text caption, "diagnosed sociopath."

A sociopath is identified by a pattern of unethical behaviour that reflects an absence of conscience, frequently taking advantage of others through manipulation, exploitation, and deceit for self-serving purposes, according to Psychology Today.

The 28-year-old, who also has an account on TikTok and frequently garners millions of views through her videos, often shares insights on identifying signs that someone in your life could be a sociopath, The New York Post reports.

“I had to teach myself to blink more frequently so I wouldn’t freak people out,” Batra-Matheson said in the TikTok video, noting that sociopaths frequently have a "dead" look in their eyes and display a blank, emotionless stare.

One of the tactics that sociopaths use is “mirroring,” where they match their target’s energy to draw them in, she said, explaining: “The way I do this is by saying something absolutely ridiculous and seeing if they’ll mirror me. I tell them that I spend my free time knitting. Somehow they knit as well, or their uncle does.”

By provoking such a person with a “range of emotions”, Batra-Matheson warned that the “mask of sanity and kindness slips very fast at this point.”

Kanika Batra-Matheson was born in New Zealand and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she currently resides. She also has a YouTube channel wherein she says in her bio that “as a diagnosed high functioning sociopath (ASPD)”, she discusses the “realities and hardships of living with highly stigmatised personality disorders.”
