Azaad teaser: Ajay Devgn introduces Rasha Thadani, Aaman Devgan in period drama

Actor Ajay Devgn has released the teaser for his upcoming period film Azaad, which tells the story of a family's love for their loyal horse. The movie marks the debut of his nephew, Aaman Devgan, and Raveena Tandon's daughter, Rasha Thadani.

Set in Pre-Independence India, the film features Ajay Devgn as a skilled horse rider deeply bonded with his loyal horse. As he evades the brutal English armies, leaping over valleys, the horse goes missing amidst the chaos. His nephew, portrayed by Aaman Devgan, is then tasked with the mission to find the lost companion.

The teaser then introduces Rasha where she was seen exuding royalty. There are high-action scenes that have left fans in awe.

Azaad is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, known for films like Kai Po Che, Kedarnath, Rock On and others. The upcoming film is bankrolled by stalwarts Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor. Apart from Ajay Devgn, Rasha and Amaan, the film also stars Diana Penty.

Azaad is set for release on the big screen in January 2025.
