by Dylan Kelly · HypebeastNetflix has announced that the fifth and final season of Stranger Things will premiere next year. The streamer has not yet revealed the next installment’s release date; however, the company did reveal the season’s full list of episode titles, which you can find below.
Episode 1: “The Crawl”
Episode 2: “The Vanishing of …” (this title is intentionally unfinished to not spoil plot lines)
Episode 3: “The Turnbow Trap”
Episode 4: “Sorcerer”
Episode 5: “Shock Jock”
Episode 6: “Escape from Camazotz”
Episode 7: “The Bridge”
Episode 8: “The Rightside Up”
Fans will have to continue theorizing about what those titles mean until Netflix decides to share further information on what to expect from Stranger Things‘ finale. The streamer has been largely quiet on the show’s fifth season ever since the series’ fourth installment concluded in 2022. It was previously reported that production on season five began this year, with Linda Hamilton (The Terminator) joining the all-star cast; but otherwise, the much-anticipated conclusion to the Stranger Things story has been well kept in Netflix’s vault.
The Duffer Brothers plan on keeping the franchise alive past its finale season. The twin directors are working on bringing an animated Stranger Things series to Netflix, and there’s also The First Shadow, a play that debuted on London’s West End (and is now heading to Broadway) that serves as a prequel to the series.
