Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi who is quite popular for his chartbuster songs like Dil Le Gayi Kudi, Laung Da Lashkara and others recently threatened Bollywood actress-BJP MP Kangana Ranaut after giving out comments about Punjab. The singer also threatened to expose her if she continued commenting about his state. During a recent rally in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana was seen addressing the crowd and said that the neighboring state of Punjab is laced with drugs and the youths are addicted to alcohol. She said that Himachal Pradesh is in contrast to Punjab. She also urged the youth of Himachal to not get influenced by the people of Punjab.

Well, Kangana Ranaut's comment did not go down well with Jasbir and he objected about the same. Jassi said that if Kangana does not stop talking negatively about Punjab then he will expose things about her. He even criticised the actress and warned her to stop. He said, 'I am forced to say this now because she has been targetting Punjab too much. She once got drunk with me and another female friend in my car in Delhi and she had no control over herself. The amount of alcohol and drugs she has consumed, I don't think anyone else has. If she does not stop talking about Punjab, then I'll expose all her stories'.

Jasbir also said that he does not want to name and shame a woman in public. He also said that her action needs to be taken as he said her comments against Punjab are getting out of hand. He even added saying, 'No one should take Kangana seriously. She is a mental case. Hil gayi hai bilkul. Mansik santulan theek nahi hai. It is a big threat to the nation that such idiotic people go and sit in the Parliament and take decisions about the country'.

On the work front, Kangana will be seen in Emergency film and the Censor Board after several Sikh organizations claimed that the film portrayed the community in a negative light. The film was all set to release in September, but the CBFC refused to present the clearance certificate and the release got delayed. Kangana will essay the role of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi in Emergency. The political drama also stars Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shreyas Talpade in main roles.
