'Made a mistake', Man who sent latest death threat to Salman Khan extends apology

Salman Khan has been ruling the headlines ever since Baba Siddique's murder on October 12. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang reportedly took the responsibility of Baba Siddique's murder. In a message shared on social media, Salman Khan was also mentioned. The actor and Baba Siddique shared a very close bond. Following the assassination, Salman Khan's security was beefed up. There were reports suggesting that the Mumbai Traffic Police received a threatening message against Salman Khan.

As per the reports in entertainment news sites, on October 18, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a message from an anonymous person demanding Rs 5 crore to 'end the enmity' between Salman Khan and Bishnoi community. It was a threatening message as it allegedly read, "Don’t take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay Rs 5 crore. If the money isn’t paid, Salman’s fate will be worse than Baba Siddique’s." Now, the latest reports suggest that the police has received another message from the same number, apologising for the earlier, threating message. The person who sent the message has apologised stating that it was a 'mistake'. If reports are to be believed, the police have traced the number to Uttarakhand.

Amid all the death threats and increased security, Salman Khan isn't letting any of it affect his work schedule. The actor is shooting for his upcoming movie Sikandar. Reportedly, around 60 security guards get deployed on the set to ensure that the Dabangg Khan is safe. Salman Khan also appeared on the recent Weekend Ka Vaar. He wasn't his usual happy self, but Salman Khan did his job. He commented on the show that he was in no mood to come and host but it is his job to do. He also spoke about false allegations that he gets subjected to and what his family goes through.

In an interview with ABP, Salman Khan's father Salim Khan claimed that it wasn't his son who hunted the blackbuck. Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang are reportedly targeting Salman Khan due to the blackbuck poaching case of 1998. The Bishnoi Community reportedly considers blackbuck as sacred.
