On September 28th and 29th, Red Velvet held their 2024 Red Velvet FANCON TOUR in MACAU at the Studio City Event Center. As it was their first solo concert in Macau, both dates sold out, drawing significant attention.

Red Velvet opened the fancon with Happiness, followed by a series of diverse stages including Psycho, Feel My Rhythm, Queendom, Cosmic, Sunflower, and Bubble, showcasing a variety of genres.

The group also presented solo stages, starting with Yeri’s solo dance in Ice Cream Cake, Joy’s dreamy performance in Underwater, Wendy’s powerful ad-libs in So Good, Irene’s sophisticated charm in Knock Knock (Who’s There?), and Seulgi’s charisma in Bad Boy, which captivated the audience from the start.

In celebration of their 10th debut anniversary, the fancon featured a special segment where Red Velvet personally read and responded to fan stories, creating an intimate connection. The event also included performances that reflected Red Velvet’s history, as well as VCR clips featuring heartfelt messages to their fans, evoking nostalgia and emotion.

The audience, filling the venue, created a breathtaking rainbow scene with banners displaying the members’ signature colors and slogans like "Even across the 10th galaxy, only Red Velvet."

At the end of the show, the members shared tearful thoughts: "Knowing this was the final performance of the Asia tour, I kept getting emotional whenever I made eye contact with the other members. Also, ReVeluvs’ support and loving gazes made it even more touching. Thank you for making us happy again today, and we promise to continue being artists who bring you happiness."

Meanwhile, Red Velvet is currently facing decisions regarding their future as a group due to staggered contract renewal timings. Seulgi renewed her contract in August last year, while Irene did so in February this year.

Last week, there were reports of Joy considering a move to an acting agency, with SM Entertainment responding cautiously, saying that contract discussions were ongoing. The future steps of Wendy and Yeri have yet to be clearly disclosed.
