Actress Shin Se Kyung returns to the big screen after 10 years with spy action film 'Humint'

Actress Shin Se Kyung is making her long-awaited return to the big screen after 10 years with the spy action film 'Humint' (directed by Ryu Seung Wan, produced by Outlaws).

Shin Se Kyung was cast as the new lead of 'Humint', replacing Nana, who had to step down due to scheduling conflicts. 

Shin will play Chae Sun Hwa, a North Korean restaurant worker, alongside Jo In Sung as a National Intelligence Service team leader and Park Jung Min as a North Korean State Security Department agent, forming a dynamic chemistry on screen.

Shin's last film was 'Tazza: The Hidden Card' (2014), and aside from her role in the 2021 documentary 'Another Record', she has primarily focused on dramas like 'Six Flying Dragons,' 'Bride of the Water God,' 'Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,' 'Run On,' and 'Sword of Aramun.'

Her return to film with 'Humint' is highly anticipated, as she collaborates with renowned director Ryu Seung Wan, known for his 'Veteran' series and 'Smugglers.' The film, set to heat up theaters next year, revolves around secret agents from North and South Korea investigating crimes at the Vladivostok border.

'Humint' stars Jo In Sung, Park Jung Min, Park Hae Joon, and Shin Se Kyung, with filming slated to begin later this year.
