BLACKPINK to make a full-group comeback and launch a world tour next year, according to YG Entertainment.

On September 24th, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK will meet fans again with a full-group comeback and a world tour in 2025.

On the same day, YG also revealed that BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ choreography video surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube as of 2 AM KST. This is the first and highest record ever for a K-pop choreography video, achieved around 4 years and 2 months after its release on July 6, 2020.

Along with this news, YG Entertainment added, “BLACKPINK is planning to make a full-group comeback in 2025 and go on a world tour,” delighting fans.

BLACKPINK has left a significant mark in K-pop history on YouTube, as well. In addition to the ‘How You Like That’ choreography video, they have three other videos with over 1.7 billion views: the music videos for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ (2.2 billion views), ‘Kill This Love’ (2 billion views), and ‘Boombayah’ (1.7 billion views).

The explosive viewership of BLACKPINK’s choreography videos demonstrates the global interest in their performances. The official music video for ‘How You Like That’ recently surpassed 1.3 billion views, continuing its popularity.

‘How You Like That’ delivers a message about rising above any situation and flying high. The song won ‘Song of the Summer’ at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards and topped YouTube’s 2020 ‘Global Top Summer Songs’ list.

Its achievements in music charts were also impressive. The track achieved a ‘perfect all-kill’ on Korean charts and ranked 2nd on Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart. It also reached 20th on the UK’s Official Singles Top 100 chart and 33rd on the Billboard Hot 100, making notable progress in the global pop market.

To date, BLACKPINK has released 47 videos with over 100 million views on YouTube, showcasing their continued dominance. Their official YouTube channel has more than 94.8 million subscribers, the highest number for any artist worldwide, and their accumulated content views have surpassed 36.7 billion.
