Jack Grealish and Sasha Attwood welcome first child - and share adorable name

Jack Grealish's girlfriend Sasha Attwood has given birth to their first child, a daughter, with the Manchester City ace confirming the news on social media

Jack Grealish's girlfriend, Sasha Attwood has given birth to their first child.

The Manchester City ace took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of his daughter just hours after she had been born. Resting in her moses basket, the little girl was seen clinging onto the finger of Jack. He wrote: "Mila Rose Grealish. 27/09/24." Meanwhile, Sasha also took to Instagram to share the same snap of their daughter, writing: "27/09/24. Mila Rose Grealish. The most special moment of my life."

Ross Barkley was one of the first to congratulate Jack, writing: "Congrats lad," alongside a red heart in the comment section. Singer Tom Grennan added: "Congrats broooo." Meanwhile, Big Brother's Noky Simbani gushed on Sasha's post: "What a beautiful name, congratulations." Britain's Got Talent legend Calum Scott added: "Congratulations man!!" As Declan Rice commented with a red heart emoji. "Congrats guys," said Love Island's Jack Keating.

Jordan Pickford's wife, Megan, gushed: "Perfection. Love you so much already, Mila Rose. Auntie Megs can't wait to buy you frilly socks and tutus." "Congratulations beautiful," added Louis Tomlinson's little sister Daisy. Her twin, Phoebe, commented: "Congratulations, my darling." Singer Frankee Rose gushed: "Congratulations" with a pink heart emoji.

Sasha and Jack's delightful news comes after the influencer revealed she was finding it hard to fit clothes that fitted her at seven months pregnant. Just weeks before giving birth, Sasha revealed she was "on edge" but admitted she was "beyond blessed" to be having a child with her teenage sweetheart.

The pair met when they were just teenagers, attending the same school in Solihull, West Mids. The couple, who tend to keep their relationship quite private only announced their pregnancy in July, three months before they welcomed little Mila. Grealish broke the news on his Instagram account, sharing a picture of himself hugging his girlfriend from behind, with both of their hands over her pregnancy bump. The star was understandably delighted over the news - and captioned the post by writing: "Life's biggest blessing."

Meanwhile, Sasha shared the same picture on her account, captioning her post by writing: "Half of me, half of you - beyond blessed." They have been together throughout Grealish's professional career, with Attwood following him from his early time at Aston Villa before they left their hometown of Birmingham when the England star joined City for £100million in 2021.

Attwood works as a model, advertising for brands including L'Oreal, House of Fraser, Pretty Little Thing and Boohoo. She was also seen supporting Grealish through what was a difficult season in which he suffered several injuries before being left out of the England squad for Euro 2024.

Sasha and Jack have been in an on-off relationship as he has also been linked to a range of celebrities including Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, as well as two Love Island stars. When Jack was rumoured to be dating Emily back in 2021, Sasha remained silent, but it was reported at the time that Emily issued an ultimatum telling him to pick between the two women after finding out he wasn't entirely single.
