Govinda's Wife Sunita Looks Emotional As She Talks About The Actor's Health, 'Kuch Mahine Baad...'

After Govinda's recent bullet injury, his wife, Sunita Ahuja, talked to the media and gave a health update about the actor.

Actor Govinda made headlines after his licensed revolver misfired and a bullet was accidentally hit on his leg. The actor was rushed to the hospital, and the bullet was operated out. The incident happened in the wee hours of October 1, 2024, when Govinda was checking his licensed revolver while preparing to leave for Kolkata.

Govinda’s wife, Sunita, gives an update on the actor’s health

Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, who was in Kolkata when the incident happened, reached the hospital and shared a health update about the actor. Sunita looked emotional as she spoke to the media stationed outside the hospital and said:

“Sir theek hai, abhi aaj unko normal ward me shift kar rahe hain. Kal se bahut behtar hain. Kal ya parso discharge bhi kar denge. Sabke aashirwad se sir ekdum theek ho gaye hain. Har jagah, dargah me mandiron me, har jagah pooja prarthana chal rahi hai. Mai bolna chahungi fans ko aaplog panic mat hohiye. Sir ekdum theek hai. Kuch mahine baad, sir fir dance karne lagenge.”

Govinda’s manager talks about the accidental firing

As per Govinda’s manager, the actor was putting his licensed gun back into the cupboard after cleaning it when he accidentally dropped it, causing the gun to fire. The actor immediately called his wife, Sunita, and his manager. As Govinda had planned to fly to Kolkata for a show, his manager was already at the airport when he received the call. The actor was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Govinda releases an audio message after his surgery

After the surgery, Govinda released a voice note in which he thanked his fans for their concern and prayers. The actor also shared an update on his health and revealed that the bullet was operated out from his knee. In his audio message, Govinda said:

“Namahskaar, pranaam, Main Hoon Govinda. Aap sab logon ka aashirwaad aur maa Baap ka aashirwaad hai aur Guru ki Krupa ke wajah se… mujhe jo goli lagi thi, who nikaal di gayee hai. Main dhanyawad deta hoon yahaan ke doctor kaa …aadarniya doctor Agarwaal ji kaa aur aap sab logon ki praartahana jo hai… aap logon ka dhanyawaad”

As soon as the news of Govinda’s injury surfaced, actress, Kashmera Shah was seen rushing to the hospital, where Govinda was admitted. Kashmera, who is Govinda’s nephew, Krushna Abhishek’s wife was among the first ones to reach the hospital. As the shutterbugs papped her, the actress didn’t stop to interact with the media and rushed to meet Govinda.
