Ananya Panday Reveals Mother's 'Nuskha' To Protect Her From 'Nazar': 'People Think I Don't Shower'

Ananya Panday is enjoying back-to-back hit films, and recently, she revealed how her mother, Bhavna Panday, tries to protect her from 'buri nazar'.

Ananya Panday is rising high with her back-to-back superhit films. The actress, who failed to leave a mark with her debut film, Student Of The Year 2, is now loved for her acting on the silver screen. From her performance in Call Me Bae to Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, the year 2024 is promising for Ananya. Amidst it, the actress revealed how her mother tries to protect her from the buri nazar.

Ananya Panday revealed how her mother keeps her protected from nazar

In Indian families, nazar is legit real, and it is the mommies who make sure to keep the kids away from it. And Ananya Pandya's mother, Bhavna Panday is no different. Recently, in a Netflix video, Ananya Panday revealed how her mother puts two black dots behind her ears every day without fail.

Ananya Panday revealed that she gets her nazar removed weekly. Although Ananya doesn't know the science behind it, her house help does it at her mother's request. Ananya also added that her mother puts two black dots behind her ear, and it makes everybody think that she doesn't take shower or if she had something dirty behind her ear. She said:

"My mom put two black dots behind my ear before I came here. Everyone thinks I don’t shower or have something dirty behind my ear, but my mom keeps putting it again and again."

Ananya further revealed that she gets her nazar out every week. She added how her househelp gets her nazar removed with mirchi. She said:

"I take out my nazar every week. The help at my house does the mirchi thing. You know the mirchi thing? So, if it smells a lot, it means you have nazar. If the mirchi burns a lot, you have nazar."

Ananya has been working hard and people might say whatever they want to, but she is definitely ticking off goals from her checklist. In 2023, she fulfilled her dream of owning her own home. On November 10, 2023, Ananya Panday shared the good news of buying her own home. She posted glimpses of her griha pravesh puja on her Instagram handle. In the first picture, Ananya was seen doing puja in her new home. She was decked up in a pretty yellow-hued ensemble and looked gorgeous. The actress also shared a video, wherein we can see her breaking the coconut in front of the main door. We loved the pastel pink-toned door.

Earlier, Ananya Panday was in a relationship with Ishaan Khatter. They have been together for three years, and fell in love while shooting for the film, Khaali Peeli. However, after being together for quite some time, they had called it quits.
