‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6’ KSV loadout and best class setup
An underrated SMG currently
by Echo Apsey · NMEThe KSV is being overlooked slightly right now in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 but it shouldn’t be. It is one of the most reliable SMGs in the game and has ridiculous damage potential if you can iron out some of its kinks, which this loadout guide will help with.
This guide will touch on our suggestions for the best attachments and the top overall class setup for the KSV. This loadout is based off of six hours of using the weapon.
Best ‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6’ KSV loadout
The best KSV loadout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is:
- Optic: Kepler Red Dot
- Muzzle: Muzzle Break
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Precision Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Rear Grip: Commando Grip
- Stock: Combat Stock
- Fire Mods: 9x39MM Soviet Overpressured
As you can see with the number of attachments here, we suggest using the Gunfighter Wildcard to really beef up this weapon. The first thing you will need is the Kepler Red Dot optic, or another optic of your choice Being able to clean up those iron sights really helps and it also will improve your accuracy, which can be tough to maintain with the KSV out of the box.
Next up, the Muzzle Break will improve the weapon’s recoil, which is another major issue here, alongside the Precision Foregrip. The latter will also improve the weapon’s idle sway which can be noticeable with a zoomed-in scope. The Combat Stock will also help with this, while improving your movement speed while aiming around corners.
Additionally, you will want to use the Long Barrel to boost your damage range. Although, it is already really good with the KSV this extra improvement doesn’t hurt and just allows you to be more consistent at a distance. Pair this with the Commando Grip for those moments where you need to run and gun. This will boost your aim down sight speed and sprint to fire speed. You don’t want to be running around with the KSV too much but this can help in those moments where you are caught off guard.
We also suggest running the 9x39MM Soviet Overpressured attachment in the Fire Mods slot to be able to improve your bullet velocity. Finally, the Extended Mag I gets our final attachment slot. You don’t want to use a laser here. This will give you more bullets to work with and allow you to continue streaks longer without needing to reload.

‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6’ best KSV class setup
The best class setup for the KSV in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is:
- Pistol: Grekohva
- Melee: Knife
- Tactical: Flashbang
- Lethal: Semtex
- Field Upgrade: Spring Mine
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Tracker
- Perk 3: Vigilance
- Wildcard: Gunfighter
As we already said, you want to run Gunfighter in the Wildcard slot, which forces us to choose three perks of the same type if we want a Combat Specialty, which we do. As with most of our classes, we suggest the Recon Combat Speciality, which will involve pairing Ghost, Tracker, and Vigilance together.
Vigilance is the better option in the third slot, while Tracker will allow you to better track enemies as you lurk around the map. Ghost will ensure you stay off the mini-map, as while you aren’t darting around with this class, you definitely don’t want to be sitting stationary.
In your Field Upgrade slot, we suggest using the Spring Mine to be able to keep a lane or corner of the map on lockdown, landing a free kill or hitting an enemy if they walk past it. The Semtex and Flashbang similarly allow you to lurk and use your equipment tactically while ensuring you have the upper hand. The Flashbang in this game is particularly strong.
Finally, use the Grekhova to land those final hits on an enemy in tight situations up close.
