Ruth Langsford wears wedding ring despite split from Eamonn Holmes

Ruth Langsford was spotted brandishing her wedding ring after leaving a hairdressing salon in west London on Tuesday.

The presenter, 64, showed off her fresh blonde highlights as she stepped out to browse the high end stores in Holland Park.

Her outing comes after her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes, 64, took his girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, to TV star Hayley Sparkes' wedding on Saturday in a huge next step.

Photos shared on Instagram by a mutual pal show a beaming Katie with Eamonn as they enjoyed the lavish reception with other guests.

They were in good company as they beamed alongside the likes of A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton.

Eamonn has been dating counsellor Katie since his split from wife Ruth.

And Katie, who enjoyed a romantic cruise with the TV star last month, has told friends she is in it for 'the long haul' 

She has been helping Eamonn through the split from Ruth, but her friends say she is at pains to point out that their friendship has only grown close once the marriage was over in May.

Eamonn proved he was very much enjoying his new romance after the pair jetted off for a luxury holiday together over the summer.

The getaway reportedly left Eamonn's estranged wife Ruth shocked, with the holiday occurring just four months after the former golden couple announced they were divorcing.

The Northern Irish presenter has been open about his new relationship with the pair pictured enjoying two holidays together over the summer.

In May it emerged Eamonn and Ruth had split after 14 years of marriage and would divorce.

Cracks had started to appear in their relationship and they had not been photographed together for two years.

Katie met Eamonn on X in 2015 after she commented on a post and it sparked a conversation.

Last October he attended a charity fundraising event in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and became a patron. Katie has worked for the charity as a therapist.

It was reported last month that Ruth has hired a 'fierce' divorce lawyer amid the bitter split.

As reported by The Sun, Catherine Costley has been called up by Loose Women host Ruth who seeks to end her 14-year marriage to Eamonn, also 64, with a financial settlement.

Ms Costley is known for her fierce approach to divorce settlements and has said all women should have a 'go bag' fund when exiting a relationship, according to The Sun. 

The divorce lawyer was once an apprentice of 'Steel Magnolia' Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain's highest-profile divorce lawyer who famously represented Charles in his split from Diana in 1996.

Baroness Shackleton has also worked with A-list stars including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna, and was once doused with water in court by a furious Heather Mills while representing the Beatles legend during the couple's divorce in 2008.
