Primark fans have been sent into a nostalgic frenzy after the bargain store launched a new range inspired by a hit noughties TV series.

The high street retailer is renowned for collaborating with Disney, Warner Bros. and Pixar to release the likes of Harry Potter, Friends, Micky Mouse, Shrek and Beetlejuice ranges, which include clothing, accessory and homeware merch.

Now, its latest collaboration has Millennials and Gen Z going wild, as a cult teen drama is introduced to existing ranges.

Following the lives of privileged teenagers on the upper east side of New York, Gossip Girl is an American TV series that spanned six seasons from 2007 until 2012.

Some of the series' most beloved characters include 'It girl' Serena van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively, and her popular frenemy, Blair Waldorf, played by Leighton Meester.
