Our favourite budget phone is down to its lowest-ever price for Prime Day

Get it while you still can

If you’re looking at phones in Amazon’s Prime Day sale, you’re probably on the hunt for a bargain.

But in amongst the deals on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel handsets, there’s one major discount that you might’ve missed.

It’s the CMF Phone 1, the Nothing sub-brand’s first-ever handset, and the best budget phone you can buy right now. It wasn’t exactly expensive to begin with, starting at just £209, but a Prime Day discount means it’s now available for just £177.49.

Get the CMF Phone 1 for just £177.49

That’s a 15% discount, and the lowest price it’s ever been. However, you’ll need to be quick – the deal is set to expire at the end of Prime Day at 11.59pm tonight.

Sadly, there are no discounts on the phone on Amazon’s US site.

To avoid paying the full £209, you’ll need to be a Prime member. It costs £8.99 per month or £14.99 per year for a subscription, but you can get a free 30-day trial if you haven’t signed up before. Just make sure you cancel before the 30 days are up to avoid being charged.

It’s also extraordinarily good value for the phone you’re getting. In our full CMF Phone 1 review, we described it as “exactly what the budget market was missing”. A truly unique design includes an interchangeable plastic back and removable ‘Accessory Point’.

Other highlights include Nothing’s slick and highly customisable take on Android, strong performance and a great range of fun accessories.

It’s not perfect, with cameras a clear shortcoming, but this is a standout phone in more ways than one. There’s a reason it sits top of our best budget phones guide.
