National Savings and Investments have issued a warning to Premium Bonds holders and customers -urging them to check their accounts. The Premium Bond results October 2024 have been revealed today - and customers can see if you're £1million richer.

Premium Bonds are a type of savings product run by National Savings & Investment (NS&I) but instead of earning interest, you're entered into a monthly prize draw. The first £1million winner is from Derbyshire and they hold the maximum £50,000 in Premium Bonds.

They bought their winning bond 535MK963637 in March 2023. The second person to win £1million is from Gloucestershire and they hold £29,900 in Premium Bonds. They won with the bond number 203JB525288, which they purchased in February 2013.

You can use the NS&I online prize checker tool, or the Premium Bonds prize checker app, to see if you've won. If you're a winner, you can have the money paid into their bank account, or reinvest it into new Premium Bonds.

You should be emailed or sent a text message from NS&I if you've won. NS&I says: "The easiest way to manage your Premium Bonds and any other NS&I account is to use our online service. You can register to keep all your contact details up to date and make sure we can get in touch if you win a prize."

One winner, known only as TB from Nottinghamshire, spoke of winning previously and proclaimed: "I’ve held Premium Bonds since their inception in 1956, sometimes building up a substantial amount, sometimes running them down. At the time of my win I have just under £13,000 in Bonds. I seem to have had similar wins to your readers - lots of cheques for £25.

"After my £1 million jackpot, I took up almost the maximum allowance. The £25 prizes I still win automatically go into buying more Bonds. I understand no one has ever had two big wins. I wonder if this could happen to me. I will certainly let you know!"
