The 'beautiful' Waterproof Belted Trench Coat was said to be 'long', 'roomy' and of 'high quality'

A Marks & Spencer shopper said 'at last' as she shared her joy at finding 'smart and stylish' hooded raincoat. The 'beautiful' Waterproof Belted Trench Coat was said to be 'long', 'roomy' and of 'high quality'.

The Waterproof Belted Trench Coat comes in sizes six to 24, but was said to 'fit big'. M&S said the coat, described as being 'hunter green' in colour, provided 'the ultimate wet weather protection'.

The retailer said the waterproof fabric and "fully taped" seams would ensure wearers stayed "dry in a downpour". The Waterproof Belted Trench Coat has a detachable hood and stormflap at the back to provide "extra protection from the elements".

Leaving a five-star review for the Waterproof Belted Trench Coat, one customer said: "It’s lovely and so far definitely waterproof. I’m usually a 12 but I’ve bought an 8. Even with thick jumpers it’s generous."

Another said the Waterproof Belted Trench Coat was "high quality both in style and material". They added: "I like the raglan sleeves and the revere collar - both are very flattering. The shade of green is just right. The hood is good size and has a peak to stop rain falling on your face. It is waterproof.

"The length for me was ideal as I am 5ft 8. However I wanted a waterproof coat/mac that was lightweight. This coat is so heavy. It would have been perfect otherwise. I did not keep it."

Another said the Waterproof Belted Trench Coat was "beautiful and stylish" but "no good if you are below about 5ft7", adding: "Very oversized and quite heavy."

A five-star review for the Waterproof Belted Trench Coat read: "At last - a smart stylish raincoat with a hood. Yes, it’s roomy but you are supposed to be able to wear a jacket underneath this sort of coat. I am 5 feet tall and my usual size 6 fits as well as any M&S clothes usually do.

"I agree it’s long but I love the length which is just above my ankle. Lovely green as per the picture on line. The fabric is a bit unusual and has a sheen to it which was unexpected but fine."

Nobody's Child has a Khaki Oversized Single Breasted Trench Coat for sale for £149. H&M also has a Knee-Length Trench Coat, priced £64.99.
