UK tourists have warned Spain is "off the holiday list" over new alcohol limits for Brits. Spain will introduce six drinks per day limits at all-inclusive holiday level, according to reports, amid a crackdown in anti-social and drink-fuelled behaviour from European Union holidaymakers.

One Facebook user laughed: "No more all inclusive it is than. Straight to the shop and fill the fridge every morning at 9am." "We went to an all inclusive in Spain and my mam was mortified coa I bought sambucca in a bag. Said I must be the first person to byob into an all inclusive," a second said.

Another warned: "That's Spain off the holiday destination list for almost everyone then. Good luck with that" Another fumed: "That wont last... as soon as the pubs and restaurants realise that there losing big money and there profits are hit, it will go back to normal."

Holidaymakers will now be limited to just six alcoholic beverages per day, split between three for lunch and three for dinner, when staying in parts of Spain. The rule applies to the following resorts: Magaluf in Majorca, Playa de Palma in Majorca, El Arenal in Majorca, and San Antonio in Ibiza.

Another said: "Well that will be the end of that little business, good while it lasted but hey, move on, rent an apartment and go and use any bar you like, buy booze from the local shop. I left Ireland 20 years ago for Andalusia and apart from one year in the Philippines i've been here all the time."

"If that’s the same silly rule that has been in place in maga and Ibiza for years it’s only the party areas and does not affect family resorts and the young party ones? just go to the off licence instead of all inclusive and still get plastered round the pool," another wrote.

Another fumed: "Spain introduces 'three drinks per evening' rule for UK tourists The restriction means that guests who are staying in all-inclusive hotels have a limit of six drinks per day. The drinks must also be spaced throughout the day - three in the day and three in the evening. Well that's going to kill it."

Another said: ""British tourists are set to snub Spanish Islands if the drinks ban at all inclusive getaways is enforced." That's good news for the rest of us then."
