An 'amazing' moisturiser made dry skin 'a thing of the past' according to Amazon shoppers - and others can now get 26 per cent off if they chose to try it for themselves. Impressed customers said the Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser banished rough patches on 'knees, feet and elbows' and 'only a small amount was needed'.

The product description on Amazon said the unisex Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser was the "saviour of dry, rough skin" from "top to toe". The "easy-to-soak-in" product also "doubled as a face mask and face primer" and could be "applied generously several times a day".

The 75ml chamomile-scented Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser usually retails at £12.07. However Amazon has slashed 26 per cent off, with shoppers now able to purchase it for £8.93.

Peter left a five-star review for the "very nice" Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser, which he described as "value for money". Bridgette thought it was a "beautiful" cream that was "thick and smells amazing".

Kerry's review of the Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser read: "I always buy this cream after a tip off from a couple of beauty friends. You literally only need a small amount and I use it on my face, elbows and hands. If I put it on around half an hour before my primer, before starting my makeup, it seems to make my makeup dewy and glowy, which is nice."

A five-star reviewer said the Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser made "dry knees a thing of the past". They added: "This is cream is the one. No need to reapply in the day, fab absorbency and not super greasy. No dry knees, foot or elbows. Great value for money."

Susan gave the Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser three stars and said: "The cream is very thick and oily. I wanted to love this as it’s been described as a dupe for a very expensive brand of sea cream moisturiser. Having had a sample of said moisturiser, it’s nothing like it as it doesn’t seep into the skin to provide a deep moisturiser experience. That said, look at the price comparison! Not fussed on the strong, almost eye watering smell."

Another said they "didn't like the smell" of the Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser and added: " It is very thick and moisturising if that’s what you’re looking for but it does smell a bit strange I won’t use it for my face, but for my elbows it’s perfect for those places where a regular moisturiser will not be enough."
