Shoppers are lauding praise on a viral hair mask that has been hailed by haircare enthusiasts as being the key to transforming their dry, damaged and frizzy hair into luscious, silky manes once more - myself being one. The Coco & Eve Like A Virgin hair mask - which is currently discounted as part of Amazon Prime's Big Deals Days to £28.80 - gained traction when it first launched some years ago for being a five-in-one 'miracle worker.

Claiming to hydrate, condition, improve hair texture and shine all whilst treating split ends and taming frizz in 10 minutes, it sounds too good to be true but, having used it on my own unruly hair - when I'd bleached it blonde from my natural dark brunette, causing my curls to get straw-like, limp and severely knotty - I can attest that it is truly a 'holy grail'.

Having made my formerly dull and lifeless locks revived, bouncy, soft to the touch and shiny after one or two uses, I will certainly be stocking up on them before Amazon Prime Big Deals Days ends (at 11:59pm on October 9).

Crafted with natural tropical ingredients, free of sulfates, phthalates and parabens, the hair conditioner uses raw virgin coconut extract to add sine and strength, preventing future breakage and split ends - the essence of fig and shea butter moisturises and detangles while argan oil tames the dreaded frizz. Adding in some linseed injects gloss into your luscious locks.

Some shoppers say it's better than OLAPLEX

It's not just me who's in awe of this product as beauty buffs have noted a difference in just one use - no wonder the product has received over 9,000 reviews on Amazon alone, one of which read: "I don’t usually write any reviews but!! I have to share this. My hair was so lifeless even my husband noticed and he didn’t even notice when I dyed my hair. I’ve been using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and that just sucked all the life out of my hair. Dry, frizzy and breaking. This little box brought life back to my hair and I couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend."

Another hailed it as 'witchcraft' and said: "I don’t usually write reviews but I loved this product so much that I had to say something. My hair has taken its fair share of damage over the years, from straighteners to hair dyers and a lot of hair dye. I have tried many different products on my hair but nothing seemed to help reduce the appearance of my many split ends or make my hair look like I have just stepped out of the hairdressers.

"I needed something to put a bit of life back into my hair and Coco and Eve did just that! I was a bit sceptical at first, as I thought it was too good to be true but from the first use you can definitely tell the difference, it helps with my split ends, and my frustrating frizz and it smells incredible! I cannot recommend this product enough!"

"This stuff is like magic," raved a third, who added: "My hair was like straw before I started using it. My hair is very fine, but this doesn't weigh it down. Now my hair is soft and so manageable."

The only negative aspect about this mask shoppers have commented on is its relatively expensive price point at £36, with one saying: "I will be using this very sparingly and every other wash because as much as I love it the price tag is just way too high" - all the more reason to snap it up while its on sale. Want to indulge in some hair care treats? Fans of the brand can also invest in the brand's That's A Wrap Bundle which includes the tangle tamer, hair mask and a microfibre towel, reduced from £47 to £32.90. Get it here.

Although Coco & Eve is a highly regarded hair mask, elsewhere beauty enthusiasts are also raving about the K18 Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask, £30 at Sephora as well as Ouai's Fine/Medium Hair Treatment Masque, £34 at SpaceNK.
