Amazon shoppers have been rushing to buy a reduced pair of Babyliss straighteners that are being compared to GHD's. With only a few hours left of Amazon Prime's Big Deal Day, the straighteners were originally priced at £90 and have been cut to £49.

With a pretty rose gold colour, the straighteners feature ceramic plates that glide through the hair for 'smooth results'. It features three settings of up to 235C and can be heated up in 15 seconds.

The straighteners have racked up over 2.5k global ratings, wth shoppers praising the straighteners in the reviews. One shopper said: "Bought these, they are light to hold, glide through the hair effortlessly and they look stylish. Comes with a heat mat. They are very good and the price is good too. Highly recommend."

Another shopper said: "Ok so I have long wavy/frizzy hair and it’s quite thick. I have been straightening my hair for at least 16 years and have gotten through endless pairs of straighteners, including GHDs. In my honest opinion, these are better than GHDs, not only because of value for money, but they heat up quickly and they glide through my hair like butter and make it look so shiny.

"I’ve had a lot of compliments since using them and would definitely recommend! I can’t advise for travelling as I’ve only used them at home so far, but they come with a lovely heat proof mat that you are able to put the straighteners inside to keep them protected."
