Amazon has reduced the price of a popular Tower dual air fryer in a limited-time offer. Shoppers can save £45.99 on the Tower T17088 Vortx 9L Dual Basket Air Fryer, now £94 down from £139.99. The air fryer has two baskets, each with a 4.5 L capacity, so you can cook more than one item at a time. It is large enough to feed up to eight people at once.

The air fryer is ideal for larger households thanks to its large size. If you're cooking foods with different cooking times in each basket, the Smart Finish function will finish cooking both baskets at the same time. You can select the Match Cook button for these instances.

The device can also be used to make cakes, tarts or pies thanks to the Bake function. There's also a grill plate for steaks. More than 1,000 of the air fryers have been bought in the last month on Amazon. One customer said: "Easy to use, with fast and efficient cooking. I really like the Smart cook on it So much faster than a conventional oven when time is short. The appearance is so cool in the gloss black and easily cleaned."

A second wrote: "Bought the two drawers as my one drawer wasn’t enough! Food in the air fryer overall is great; quick, efficient, fuel saving, no oil required so very healthy, can be used for “wet” meals like pasta etc, taste is yummy, lovely and crispy, easy to keep clean."

A third commented: "I'm so glad we switched from a fat fryer to an air fryer. It feels so much healthier. It may take a few weeks to figure out exactly what settings you want for different foods and you may need to flip over meat part way through cooking to evenly get both sides but I'm still happy with my first air fryer."

A fourth added: "This is an excellent product. It is easy to use and has so many uses. I wish I had purchased it long ago."

Not all shoppers were happy with their purchase, with one saying: "The product was a present for my daughter, to help over the school holidays, so was absolutely appalled with the very corroded plug which was obviously very dangerous to use, so very disappointed I would give it no star's but had to do one for review to send obviously very old stock."

Another said: "This product was great and loved it but it broke for no reason after eight months. Would no longer turn on."

This is a one-drawer air fryer that is ideal for smaller households, couples or shoppers living alone. Argos is selling a £50 Tower Vortx 7-in-1 7L Air Fryer, Steamer & Grill kitchen appliance. The handy device allows you to air fry, bake, roast, grill and steam.
