Amazon shoppers are snapping up a 'game changer' facial brush that is said to remove 99.5% of dirt, oil, sweat & makeup residue in 1 minute. The Foreo Luna 3 would normally cost £209 but has dropped down to £89 in the Prime Big Deals Day.

It has ultra-hygienic silicone bristles and uses T-sonic pulsations to gently cleanse skin on a deeper level. The combination of exfoliation and massage leaves skin looking fresh and energised.

You can link the brush to the app on your phone to customise how long you'd like to spend on each part of your face for the ultimate personalised routine.

It's brought in an average score of 4.4 out of 5 from across 3,923 global ratings. One shopper said: "Have used several face brushes over the years and have found that the batteries die quickly, or the brushes soon begin to smell or become gunky (is that even a word?). This brush though pricey seems to have solved both problems. The battery I have not charged since I bought it in March and it is very easy to clean.

"It has a timer for each part of the face that you can programme the brush using an app depending on your skin needs. It seems durable though a little pricey. Given how much I have spent on useless brushes that then die over the years I think of this as an investment in my skin needs. Will keep updated if anything changes."

A second penned: "Really impressed. Never in a million years would I have spent that sort of money on a face cleanser/massager before now but I had money on a gift card so put it towards this as I'd heard such good things about it. I'm so glad I bought it. App is super easy to use with adjustable timing and intensity on the cleansing section & various massage tutorials which you can mute if you wish, the app also shows the battery level & it connects to the Luna 3 super fast via bluetooth.

"Comes with a handy storage pouch, charging cable & information leaflets. Made a huge difference to my skin after the first use. Used various cleansers & exfoliating products over the years but suffered really dry patches. They're gone now, my skin is smooth & feels hydrated, the Foreo aids with product absorption. I use it at night & use the massage options for my night cream, my complexion is brighter as a result. 10/10."

However, not everyone was as thrilled. One shopper questions whether it was "worth the hype," writing: "It’s a very pretty face cleaner however I’m not sure if it’s worth the hype. You pay for the brand. Other than that it’s a very basic one. The only ‘cool’ thing that might be different is that you have an app that guides you through the features and your skincare routine.

"But in my case I don’t want to be staring at my phone also in the bathroom, it’s quite annoying. I understand we have an app for everything now but do we really need it? After all, I don’t use it nearly as much as I used to. Next time I’d opt out for another cheaper brand or a smaller one that does the same thing."

On the other hand, our very own Jada Jones swears by the Luna. She said: "I didn't realise until I got the Luna the difference a face cleansing brush makes, it's a game changer. My skin has never felt so clean and I feel like my skin cleared up massively from using it. Whenever I've had dry skin patches it's an incredible exfoliator.

"They're easy to clean and I let my friend try mine when I first got it. She went on to get her own and her mum quickly followed suit. They are expensive though, so I'd always suggest snapping it up on sale."
