These are the sales worth making the most of this week, and it's not just Amazon(Image: M&S, LookFantastic and Virgin)

Just hours remain in Amazon's Prime sale, but Sky, Virgin, LookFantastic and M&S have mega discounts

How does a free Xbox, £700 worth of beauty products for £150, or two tops at M&S for £50 - these are all the sales worth looking at outside of the Amazon Prime Day noise

by · The Mirror

The hours until the end of Amazon's whirlwind Prime Day sale are ticking away, as the retailer puts a stop to its Big Deal Days sale at 11:59pm tonight, Wednesday, October 9. It's not the end for cost-cutting shoppers, as M&S, Sky, Virgin Media, and Roman all have sales on too.

Amazon's Prime Day discounts are still the talk of the town, if you're shopping in the next few hours you could bag yourself a 32-inch Fire TV for £139, more than £100 off the Ninja 10-in-1 Rapid Cooker or a sweet deal on this Hugo Boss Ma Vie Eau de Parfum to name three of the thousands of discounts available as we speaker. But, it isn't the only retailer.

As the buzz around Prime Day continues, shoppers may have missed these very mega sales from rivals. Broadband and TV shoppers will want to look at Virgin Media's free Xbox deal or Sky's biggest price drop on its Stream and Broadband plan. Fashion fans aren't left out either, with M&S' two for £50 Seasalt clothing offer or Roman's 10% off everything sale.

Another one for beauty lovers is LookFantastic's Beauty Vault Calendar, with £700 worth of premium goodies for £150. There's a lot on for consumers and we could go as far as to say the savings and products may even be better than Prime. Our Commerce Content Editor has rounded up the rival sales worth looking at.

LookFantastic - Save £550 on Beauty Vault

Starting with one of the biggest savings at LookFantastic, with its new Beauty Vault Calendar. In the lead up to Christmas the windows and boxes of goodies are proving increasingly popular, this one saves beauty shoppers a huge £550. Inside there's Colour Wow hair products, Augustinus Bader skincare, Elemis, ESPA spa goodies and makeup from ICONIC London.

M&S two for £50

There's a lot happening at high street favourites M&S, with its two £50 Seasalt offers, Women's fashion clearance...which has some stunning Nobody's Child pieces, and of course, its 'Deck the Halls' Christmas shop has opened its doors (well, online pages).

This Nobody's Child blouse is £25 cheaper

This Pure Cotton Nobody's Child blouse caught my eye in the clearance sale, originally £55 the mix gingham style is now £33 - it's not often you'll find this popular brand with pounds cut off. Then there's Seasalt Cornwall which M&S is offering shoppers two items for £50 - the majority of tops and jumpers cost £29.95 each, so you'll be bagging a £10 saving on the two.

Free Xbox at Virgin Media

Need to upgrade your TV and broadband package at home, I'd suggest to look at Virgin Media - especially if you know someone who'd like an Xbox for Christmas. The provider is offering an Xbox Series S console to those who sign up for specific TV and broadband plans this week.

Shoppers have from now until October 13 to pick a plan and walk away with Xbox or £150 in bill credit for no extra pennies. You'll have to buy one of these plans: The Bigger Movie Combo, Bigger Combo + Sports HD, or the Mega Volt package all of which tie shoppers into a lengthy 18-month contract.

Sky's cheapest TV and broadband plan

'Lowest ever price' are the exact words used by Sky on its deals site, where it's cut the price of its Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix, and Full Fibre 300 broadband plan for £40 per month.

Now, of course this isn't something you'd buy on a whim so I do recommend batting this deal with Virgin's current TV packages and broadband combos too (especially if you want the free Xbox) but it's certainly something the last hours of Amazon's Prime Day sale can't offer.
