If you're looking to treat yourself to luxurious scents for the festive season, I've discovered a savvy way to bag £516-worth of fragrance for just £99 before Christmas. We're all familiar with the buzz around beauty advent calendars, but there are other options out there if you're less about makeup and more about smelling divine.

Sentier is a high-end fragrance brand that offers both candles and perfumes, and this year's advent calendar delivers over £500 worth of products for only £99. You can anticipate six perfumes (10ml) and six candles (60mg) that combined would usually cost you a pretty penny.

The six perfumes are alcohol-free, which is quite unique in the perfume world. Noor Riviera is said to evoke the feeling of a lavish coastal cottage. It starts with floral notes alongside apple, has a heart of gardenia and jasmine and a sugared patchouli base.

Fernway aims to spark a sense of wanderlust. It begins with bergamot and orange for a zesty kick-off before settling into a heart of tonka bean, incense and amber. It's softened with a base of precious woods and musk.

Lost Summers aims to whisk you away to those blissful summer days spent with pals. It starts off fruity with blackcurrant, nectarine and bergamot, before settling into a floral heart of lily of the valley, jasmine, freesia, neroli and damask rose. Its base is a classic warmth with Bourbon vanilla, sandalwood and musk.

The Sentier advent calendar

Meribel is a fantastic winter choice, paying homage to Swiss mountain villages. It begins with White Flowers, Heliotrope and Jasmine. The heart is more grounded with Patchouli and Amber and the lingering base notes are Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musk.

Chronicles of Self celebrates individuality with its unique notes. It opens up with an unusual pairing of Anise and Pear, has a heart of Cyclamen, Flowers, Orange, Peony and Lily and finishes with a base of Heliotrope, White Musk and Woody Notes.

The six candles also offer a range of experiences. Golden River will remind you of a Mediterranean holiday, while Botanical Sanctuary takes you to a Balinese villa tucked away in a rainforest.

The Florist's Garden is predictably very floral, while Alpine Chalet brings pine notes. Whispering Spell promises to 'transport you to a place where magic is real and every moment is infused with wonder', while Land of Dreams is a perfect option before bed.

If you're a fan of advent calendars filled with candles, Yankee Candle's offering might be right up your street - although it only includes tealights. The White Company offers double the amount of products compared to Sentier, but at £195, it's nearly twice as expensive.
