Shark cuts £150 off vacuums to rival Dyson's Black Friday deals

The special offers are on for a limited time only and you can make considerable savings before Black Friday, but you'll need to be quick

Shark has launched some offers on its best-selling vacuums ahead of Black Friday. Although the sales bonanza is at the end of next month (Friday, November 29), retailers are already gearing up for the event.

You can save £150 on two Shark vacuums now in a deal that rivals Dyson's recently launched pre-Black Friday offers. Firstly, let's look at the Dyson offers. The brand has reduced the price of its V15 Detect Absolute cordless vacuum to £499.99 from £649.99 - a considerable reduction of £150.

The device has powerful suction, dust detection technology, and fully sealed filtration. It is perfect for hard floors and carpets and has an hour of run time, so you can fully deep clean your floors around the entire house without having to recharge it. The vacuum comes in three colours including yellow, gold and black but only the yellow hue is on sale.

The Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean has also been reduced by £150, now £299.99 down from £449.99. It has a bin volume of 0.76 L, suction power of 150 W, as well as an hours run time. It takes around 3.5 hours to fully charge and has de-tangling technology to pick long hairs and fibers embedded in high-pile carpets.

The technology allows you to removes long, short and pet hair from the brush-roll as you clean. While the Anti-Odour Technology protects against bad odours inside the vacuum.

It also has a removable head which is portable and can be used to get into the nooks and crannies, including underneath furniture and in between sofa cushions. The bigger dust-cup size means fewer empties between cleans. It also has a wider floorhead which means you can cover more floor area in less time.

One happy customer left a five-star review reading: "Glad I got this model excellent machine gives a fantastic clean and with an extra large bin is so much better."

However, one reviewer said the device is too heavy, writing: "This is heavy and awkward to manoeuvre. Definitely don't recommend for anyone with a physical impairment. It won't go into 90° corners and chews up every rug or mat, whatever the setting.

The cordless stick vacuum is on sale for £150 off—now £299.99, it was £449.99. It has a double battery, so you don't have to faff around waiting for your vacuum to recharge. Simply switch to the fully charged battery pack, and you are good to go. The device is made with the same Anti-Odour Technology and Anti-Hair Wrap Plus Pet Pro features as the XL Upright Vacuum.

It has a two-hour run time and a removable head that can be used to pick up dust in hard-to-reach areas such as ceilings and curtains. It is also made with 'Clean Sense IQ' tech, which automatically detects dirt and adjusts cleaning power for up to 50% more dirt pick-up.

The enhanced brush-roll design delivers Shark's 'best ever' hair pick-up and removes hair from the brush-roll as you clean. One customer left a five-star review: "This vacuum is wonderful, fairly light, easy to store as it folds in half, easy emptying, and incredible suction."
