With Black Friday on the horizon, a whole host of discounts are set to arrive at our favourite fashion brands, including Nobody's Chid. Here are our suspected picks

Halloween and Bonfire Night are over and done with until 2025, which means we, as shopping writers, are turning our focus to a much more chaotic but wonderful event. We're talking about Black Friday.

Officially landing on November 29 this year, we're preparing for the onslaught of epic bargains from some of our favourite brands and fashion retailers and for me, one brand whose sale I'm most excited for is Nobody's Child. With around 50% of my wardrobe containing garments from the brand, my bank balance is preparing to be heavily dented.

The eco-conscious fashion company is beloved by the likes of Louise Thompson, Fearne Cotton and more and has made the headlines for its viral influencer-loved trench coats, adorable Piper pinnies and maxi dresses that somehow suit everybody. Last year the brand knocked 20% off its clothing for the event, and this Black Friday, I suspect we're in for an better treat - especially as the brand says: 'This will be our best Black Friday yet'.

Now, as this is not my first Black Friday rodeo - nor will it be my first time sifting through Nobody's Child's website in search for the ultimate bargain: last year, I bagged myself the ultimate party dress for £75 less - I've got a few predictions on the sort of things we can expect to see discounted come November 29.

With that in mind, I've done a little round up of five things we're expecting to see discounted during Nobody's Child's Black Friday sale. Of course, as their sale as has not yet been released this is not guaranteed but we can hope and dream.

The Starlight Dress

This colour and Starlight style looks lovely on Louise( Image: Louise Thompson Instagram)

Coming in 20 different colours and patterns - and lengths - this dress has such a flattering silhouette and, with so many hues, is a likely contender for the BF sales. Especially as some of the designs are currently majorly discounted (and sold out).

Spotted on Louise Thompson in several iterations, the dress usually costs £85 and is made from a blend of Birla Lyocell and Linen, making it floaty and lightweight. With an A-line skirt, puff sleeves and a flattering low v-neckline (that is dignified), it's a dream dress - even more so as it has pockets.

With its mini and sleeveless versions currently in the brand's outlet with money off - not to mention some of the colours in this style - it's only right for Starlight to make an appearance in the Black Friday sales.

Cord Piper Mini Pinafore Dress

The cord pinny comes in a variety of colours too - so you don't have to stick to black( Image: Nobody's Child)

Loved by Fearne Cotton, this vintage style Piper mini pinafore dress has appeared in a handful of Nobody's Child's sales. While it's currently full price at £55, I have every faith that in just a few weeks, it could be reduced for less.

Coming in five different shades from black to burgundy, and in sizes regular and petite, 4 - 18, the pinny dress features a deep v-neckline and is decorated with two deep pockets on either side of the skirt.

Ideal for layering, the dress is a cosy statement with its corduroy finish that'd look great in the summery months on its own and stunning in winter over the top of your favourite turtle neck jumper.

Khaki Crew Neck Quilted Puffer

This collarless khaki crew neck quilted puffer coat is ideal for autumn and winter( Image: Nobody's Child)

In 2023, we saw a whole bunch of Nobody's Child's coats massively discounted, from puffer jackets to reversible bomber styles to duster coats and more. So, I have no doubt that this year we'll be well looked after for the winter months. With some of its sister products already discounted in the brand's outlet - like this Black Quilted Jacket which is down to £96 from £120 - I have a feeling coats like this Khaki Crew Neck Quilted Puffer Jacket will be on sale.

Costing £99 usually, the coat features a collarless neckline and relaxed fit. Its button down front is super elegant and the diamond patterns screams autumn and winter style.

Shoppers have been loving this Nobody's Child trench coat( Image: Nobody's Child)

Elsewhere, with trench coat season coming to a bit of a close, in favour of warmer, woollen duster coats, I predict (and secretly hope) that this stunning camel coloured Brown Double Breasted Trench Coat, currently £159, is discounted too.

Having been spotted on the likes of Poppy Delevingne and Anaïs Gallagher during London Fashion Week, it's a classic gem of a coat that has a sneaky dog-tooth lining that can peek out of your arm's cuffs for a lovely subtle statement.

The Birdie Blouse

The 'Birdie' blouse is often a sell-out( Image: Nobody's Child)

We love an oversized and statement collar here at The Mirror and the Birdie blouse is one of our faves. Coming in a variety of colours and patterns, the usually £55 blouse has a glorious Peter Pan collar that oozes timeless style while the scallop edge on the drop collar is totally adorable. The long balloon sleeves are stylish and great for the wintery months - over which you can layer a lush cardigan.

Fastened with a delicate tie and fabric-covered buttons, this blouse will go with anything and will certainly be a hardworking piece in your wardrobe - I have the black and white gingham iteration, and I can confirm it gets an outing at least once a week.

With shirts and blouses often featured during its sales, we can see this one selling out fast with the brand's inevitable Black Friday discounts. If we're lucky, the dress version - worn recently by Louise Thompson - will also be on sale.

Cream and Black Stripe Cardigan

With winter here, we're all looking to stock up on our knitwear and with this cardigan currently on offer - and selling fast - we can see if being included in the brand's Black Friday offerings.

With a striped design and tortoiseshell buttons, it's a wardrobe staple that'll go with anything. And with it being reduced currently from £59 to £47.20, it'll feel even better.

The ribbed detailing adds a certain cosiness while its round neck makes it ideal for layering. Coming in sizes XS to XL, it's a neutral classic that'll work hard in your winter wardrobe.

Although, if you can't wait until the end of November to snap up some iconic bargains from Nobody's Child, its outlet has some pretty epic deals on currently. For example, its white Flossie dress - perfect for any brides-to-be - is reduced from £85 to £25 here, while its viral Felicity brown polka dot bandeau dress is also down to £25. This stunning pink denim cropped jacket is down to £35 from £79. For all Nobody's Child outlet deals, see here.

While Nobody's Child's Black Friday sale has not yet launched, there are several brands who have released some early Black Friday offers. Debenhams has slashed the price of some of its clothing and shoes by up to 70% here. Elsewhere, Roman has launched a sale that includes some stunning partywear, knits and coats here.
