This Morning is one of the best-loved daytime shows around, with viewers tuning in for everything from it’s showbiz news to lifestyle tips, but one segment that’s always been a firm favourite is the cooking section. On Thursday 18 September’s episode, chef Poppy O’Toole shared how to make a delicious pudding using a slow cooker, with fans instantly clamouring to know where it’s from on the show’s Instagram.

“Anyone know where the slow cooker is from? What make?” one asked, whilst another chimed in: “Does anyone know what brand that particular slow cooker is as I love the look! Thank you.”

Another viewer was quick to answer, replying: “It’s the ninja foodi, I’ve got one, it’s brilliant and looks great on the counter. Also you can put the removable cooking dish in the oven ( although you shouldn’t need to).” And good news for those hoping to add it to their kitchen, because the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 PossibleCooker Slow Cooker & Multi-Cooker Sea Salt Grey, is now on sale from £119 down £149, making now the perfect time to buy it.

The multi-cooker is the exact one used by Poppy on This Morning, and is touted as being five times more powerful than a conventional slow cooker, giving you hob-style cooking all in one pot. It also features an oven-safe pot that you can use up to 240°C and is perfect for making things like pasty-covered pies.

The Ninja Foodi slow cooker has a massive 8litre capacity cooking pot, and comes complete with a glass lid to keep your food simmering away without drying out. It also comes with an integrated spoon, a steam rack and even recipe guides to give you some cooking inspiration.

With autumn being the perfect time to start indulging in things like stews, casseroles and, as Poppy demonstrated, puddings, it’s an ideal time to add the Ninja Foodi to your array of kitchen appliances. Plus, it doesn’t just slow cook.

You can sear, braise and sauté in it, swap to the slow cooker function, and even simmer, bake, prove and keep leftovers warm in it – definitely a workhorse for your kitchen. You can slow cook for up to 12 hours, and it has a digital display that gives you full control over your temperature and cooking functions.

It’s also racked up an impressive 4.9 star out of 5 rating from fans, with one writing: “I love that you can sear meat and then add your stock/wine and then change to slow cook when say making a boeuf bourguignon (I coooked a Tuscan chicked too) so all the flavour stays in the pot. I have boiled vegetables and used the steam function - I havent tried yet but I'm thinking you could steam a Christmas pudding in it too. Really VERY nicely made and intuitive to use also versatile - very pleased with this kitchen helper.”

Another added: “Fantastic product, outstanding quality, I was doubtful that I’d need so many options for a slow cooker but this is a bit more than just that. The sear option is brilliant. Fab for one pot wonders that I normally start on the hob, spag bols and chillis too.”

A third penned: “Needs longer cable, but generally very easy to use.”

If you’re a little overwhelmed by all the functions and truly just want a simple slow cooker to cook with, Lakeland’s 6L Slow Cooker is also currently on sale, down from £59.99 to £44.99, Meanwhile at Dunelm you can get a much smaller Salter Cosmos 3.5L Oval Slow Cooker for £17.50 that’s perfect for smaller households.
