Fortnum & Mason just unveiled an adorable limited edition Paddington Bear hamper that’s perfect for Christmas

To celebrate the release of Paddington in Peru, Fortnum & Mason has launched a limited edition hamper packed full of adorable treats like chocolates, a cuddly toy and marmalade

The brand new Paddington Bear movie, Paddington in Peru, is set to hit cinemas on November 8 and sees the iconic bear returning to his original South American home. To celebrate the latest addition to the family film series, Fortnum & Mason has launched a gorgeous limited edition hamper that’s packed with everything you need to get you in the Paddington spirit.

The Paddington In Peru Limited Edition Hamper is now available for £185, and contains plenty of sweet treats and keepsakes to mark the new movie launch. There are only 600 of the hampers available, and each one comes with a ‘Certificate of Pawthenticity’ and has been stamped with Paddington’s ‘paw’ of approval to say that it has been ‘lovingly made especially for you’ by his friends at Fortnum & Mason.

Every hamper contains six products from the new Paddington X Fortnum’s range for you to enjoy, with Paddington’s favourite treat, marmalade, being the cornerstone of the product range. In each hamper will be a jar of Paddington In Peru Emergency Marmalade, created especially for the bear who is never knowingly without marmalade on hand. The marmalade is a classic medium cut, using a traditional Seville orange with zesty Peruvian lime in a nod to Paddington’s Peruvian heritage, and is traditionally made in small batches, making it an extra special addition to your cupboards.

Also inspired by Paddington’s love of marmalade is the Marmalade Sandwich Truffles, which house 20 luxurious chocolate truffles with a sweet and slightly bitter marmalade ganache centre that uses Fortnum’s Sir Nigel’s Marmalade. Each truffle is wrapped in a sourdough crumbed milk or dark chocolate for a crunchy texture, and are the perfect treat to sneak into the cinema while you enjoy the film.

Alongside the truffles and marmalade, the Paddington In Peru Limited Edition Hamper also includes some iced biscuits in Paddington-inspired shapes, and a slab of the Chocolate Llama Plaque. You can also pick up both of these individually as part of the wider Paddington X Fortnum’s range.

Finally, the hamper includes a packet of marmalade shortbread biscuits, as well as a cuddly Classic Paddington Plush toy. Even the wicker hamper itself has been designed to resemble Paddington’s suitcase, with leather straps, travel stickers and a a bespoke luggage tag.
